I played Springwater today (9th August) having played a number of courses around the country that week including the Carrick by Loch Lomond. Springwater had the best greens of the week. Smooth, fast and true. They were some of the best greens I have ever putted on. The whole course was in great shape and it is an interesting layout. Yes, there are a few awkward blind shots but it is a very varied and interesting course with stunning views over the Notts countryside. It is a much better track than nearby Ramsdale. The staff were friendly and helpful and it is great value for money. One of Nottingham’s must play courses.

Friendly staff, enjoyed my full English. The course is far better than I expected, not too hilly. The course was challenging for a player of my limited ability, yet the hazards were not too unreasonable. All in all I have thoroughly enjoyed my day here.

Played the course twice now and love it. Great course, great views and no better greens in the County. Staff friendly and helpful. Will book again for next week.

Played this Sunday just gone and the course was superb, really beautiful course with really good views of the surrounding areas. The greens are a treat to putt on, some very steep fairways to walk up so will be getting a buggy for the next visit!

Jolly Pete Atkins and his party from the Notts LVA visit Springwater Golf Club every couple of weeks. Jolly Pete says, “there is no better place for them to have their regular day out. The course is in great condition as always and the staff can’t do enough to make you feel welcome. We have been coming for few years now and will continue to do so. Great Club.”
