Beautiful course. Really nice mix of holes with nice, fast greens that are pretty small targets and tough to read. Good use of the hilly terrain and trees to create a lovely course.

Lovely
The course was in lovely condition today, the greens were better than anywhere we have played this year. Fairways and bunkers also in great condition, flowers on tee boxes etc, very pleasing on the eye. The attention to detail makes a big difference around the course, hats off to the green keepers, pro shop-clubhouse staff all lovely as usual. Excellent day.
I have played Springwater several times over the years and my last venture out on their fairways was in the summer this year. The course was playing well, the greens had a good roll without being too fast and overall I had a good experience again. I think it is an excellent value for money golf course and most of the par fours are sub 400 yards off the yellow pots which makes them more reachable for me as I am not a long hitter. I would recommend the course to anyone
I am proud to take golfers from other courses to play the course. It is not a course that you get a big stick out it and so on. You need to play the course and think about it. It has some challenges for all standards.
The staff and fellow members all are easy to get on with and you are made welcome. You can always get a game if you are on your own.
I have asked if a couple of things could be considered to improve the course. They have been considered and had a response from the staff. They have been done.
I was recently invited for a round of golf at Springwater whilst visiting friends in the Nottingham area.
May I say that we received a warm welcome and great assistance by Paul the Golf Manager and his staff.
The course and greens were in beautiful condition and a credit to the greenkeepers.
The holes whilst challenging, were well planned and suitable for all levels.
Fortunately, the sun was shining and the course seen to its best advantage.
The all important 19th hole didn’t disappoint. The catering staff were most hospitable and we enjoyed a hearty Sunday Roast in the Seve Suite.
All in all a lovely day at Springwater and I hope to return on my next visit to the area.

A pleasant surprise
Played in late September 2017 after quite a damp period. Overall the course was in surprisingly good condition and played well considering how wet it was.
A hilly course with a variety of design of holes , in length and difficulty. You feel out in the country here !
I expect that the course would play much differently in very dry conditions when the bounce would be a more telling factor.
Overall the golf course represents great value for money and I would recommend a visit.
Played this course for the first time today and it really is an excellent interesting course. There is plenty to test you but every hole can be parred by Mr average. Wet day but course in excellent condition. Highly recommend.
