Professional’s advice for hole one:

A reachable par 5 in two with a good drive up the centre of the fairway which has a gradual uphill incline.

Bunkers await wayward drives both on the right and left of the fairway.

It is essential not to stray too far left off the tee leaving a virtually impossible second shot.

Second shots should be hit to the right of the green enabling the ball to run down to an almost level putting surface.
